APS Employee Census
The Australian Public Service (APS) Employee Census is an annual survey of employees who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999. The Census usually opens in May and closes in June each year.
It offers an opportunity for employees to provide confidential feedback on important issues such as health and wellbeing, engagement, capability, leadership and general impressions of the agency and broader APS. The results of the Census help agencies gauge employee sentiment and identify areas of strong performance and opportunities for further development.
The CGC's 2024 APS Employee Census results are very positive, ranking highly compared with other APS agencies. Overall, the results confirm the CGC continues to be a highly engaged and inclusive workplace that gives priority to employee wellbeing. The CGC 2024 Census Action Plan (below) identifies three focus areas for investment and ongoing improvement.
