The Commonwealth Grants Commission has been asked to provide the Commonwealth Government with advice on several aspects of the Local Government (Financial Assistance) Act 1995.  A draft report will be available on 21 December 2000.  The Final Report will be sent to the Minister on 22 June 2001.
